Carole was born in Austin, moved around frequently as a child and has lived in Brussels, Belgium; Caracas, Venezuela; Bogota, Columbia; Chappaqua, New York, and Corpus Christi, Texas. Now back in the hometown she loves, Carole enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and taking part in local outreach efforts. During the Covid-19 crisis, she volunteered to help over 1,000 people schedule their vaccines and provided transportation when needed. She has been a Volunteer Puppy Raiser for Canine Companions for Independence, was a founding board member of the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi and speaks fluent English and Spanish.
