About Cate

Joye Kassab began her career as a public-school teacher in 2001 after graduating from Clemson University with a degree in Education. As a licensed teacher, principal, and superintendent of schools (K-12), her heart kept pulling her to real estate. She grew up with a father who built custom luxury homes and sold them throughout her childhood. Something about it stayed near and dear to her heart.

Cate started part time in real estate in 2009, went full time in 2012 and walked away from a successful and comfortable career in the field of education to pursue her dream of becoming a top real estate agent in her hometown of Greenville, SC. She started as a buyer’s agent in a small firm in Seneca that sold primarily luxury Lake Keowee and Lake Hartwell homes. She then went to Allen Tate Realtors in Easley, SC and gradually moved north, back to her roots in Greenville with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, C Dan Joyner Realtors and quickly became a top producer there. She is thrilled to now be with Justin Winter Sotheby’s International Realty, focusing on the luxury niche. During her personal time Cate enjoys biking, cycling, traveling, and cooking. She is a Peloton junkie and even has a fitness and cooking blog on Instagram. She has two boys, Avery and O’Keefe. She has a daughter who happens to be a French Bulldog named Bella Boo, who is attached to her hip and if you work with Cate, you will eventually meet Bella Boo and become part of the family.
