Catherine Cauthen Turner

A native North Carolinian, Catherine grew up in Winston-Salem and graduated from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, with B.A. in Business Management. She moved to Charlotte in 1991 and worked for Marriott Hotels as a corporate meeting planner for two years before joining Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. After spending seven successful years as a top specialty sales rep in North Carolina, Catherine took the plunge into residential real estate and became a Broker/Realtor®® in 1999. She spent 10 years with Bissell Hayes Realtors and 11 years with Cottingham Chalk prior to joining HM Properties in 2021. Catherine is grateful to have found her calling and has been a consistent top producing agent for over 20 years.

Catherine has never met a stranger and genuinely enjoys meeting new people. She considers one of her greatest blessings to be the lasting friendships she has built with her clients over the years. Catherine has been known to introduce clients to other clients who become friends and then their children become friends. She hopes this will be her greatest legacy in real estate if she ever considers retirement, which is not likely!

Catherine and her husband, William, live in the Eastover/Sedgewood neighborhood with their Labradoodle, Milly. She is actively involved in the Charlotte community and enjoys gardening, exercising, collecting antiques, interior design and traveling.
