Had a terrific experience with Catherine. As a first time homebuyer, she walked me through everything I’d need - in fact, she personally suggested taking a look at the property I ended up buying! It wasn’t even on my radar.

To Britta
I cannot thank you enough for all the work you did to sell my Mother’s house in New Fairfield.

The circumstances couldn’t have been worse for us. Our renter moved out in the cold weather, leaving the house vulnerable to frozen pipes etc. Making things worse, we live in Norwalk, a good hour away.

My Mother’s house was left in shambles. The refrigerator, cupboards, the bathrooms, the floors were cluttered with old foods and junk. The yard was unrecognizable and overgrown. My wife just cried when she saw it.

Within a few weeks you had the house emptied, professionally cleaned, and the yard in complete order, as it had been. You found us a local attorney, a plumber and a professional organization to remove the underground oil tank we didn’t even know was there!

EVERY time a problem arose - you called us and it was resolved immediately. Selling a house you do not live in can be an enormous problem - full of anxiety and too many trips back and forth. We had none of that. You handled everything without fuss.

To anyone needing to sell a house - I cannot recommend Britta Pedersen enough!

Katherine and Britta were top-notch in the sale of my home. Gentle suggestions were made to make my house shine for the photo shoot as well as the open house- open house scheduled within 2 days of my listing. Multiple offers within the weekend. The photos were done very professionally they were willing to show as frequently as I was able and they got the job done. I could go on, but suffice it to say I was very pleased with their professionalism and the prompt sale of my home. Well done ladies!

There are three things psychologists tell us about in having a goal, the what, the why, and the how. Goals,the "what's", are important for steps to achievement, but what is even more important than the goal is the "why" of a goal. Once the "why's" of a goal increase in importance, the "how's" of achieving that goal becomes easier. Catherine and Britta of Dream House Reality must have some pretty strong "why's", as the "how's" of building their western Connecticut real estate business is constantly improving. Dream House Realty sold my property several years ago on North St. in Danbury with, it seemed to me, pretty much ease. Our property in Roxbury is being a bit more stubborn. We have friends locally who have simply removed their properties from the market. However, Britta and Catherine are two tenacious ladies who refuse to let go, are concerned about maintaining a balance in my families life, and keep moving forward. In this rather difficult Connecticut real estate market, I wouldn't feel comfortable with anyone else. Plus, they are fun to work with!

Update!!! After some market turbulence, Britta and Catherine sold our Roxbury home and we are now happily situated in our new home. Is buying and selling properties supposed to be fun? With Britta, it was. Thanks.

Dream House Realty is just that a dream, working with Catherine was a joy. Everyone always says buying your first home is an overwhelming, anxiety inducing experience, now couple that up with a global pandemic one would think recipe for disaster, not the case with Catherine. From beginning to end she literally walked us through every step and made sure we clearly understood every single part of the process. She found us our perfect home, put us in touch with a mortgage specialist she’s worked with, and they had us closed and in our home in no time! She was patient, kind, and her knowledge of the real estate market cannot be beat.
