Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Catherine has lived in Chevy Chase, Maryland for over twenty-five years with her husband, Alex Triantis, Dean of the Carey School of Business at Johns Hopkins University, and their two children. Catherine obtained her Real Estate license in 1986. With a proven sales and marketing track record nationally, Catherine has worked with Corporate, Foundation, and Treasury offices for over 30 years. Her work experience includes managing the Southeast for Templeton Investment Counsel, Bank of America, PNC, Riggs, and Bay Bridge Capital Hedge Fund assisting in sales, contract negotiations and client service.
Catherine moved from investment management back to real estate as many local friends were seeking her advice and market knowledge. She helped other realtors’ clients gain access and information to properties not on the market. Catherine Triantis’ wide network of friendships and business contacts supports her success in the Maryland, Virginia and the DC areas. Always very active in her community, she has served as Chairman of auctions at two Washington, DC schools, and coordinated a variety of fundraising efforts, and served as an Elder and Deacon for her church. Catherine has completed a major renovation of her home, and from this venture she has established contacts with many architects, contractors and designers in the area. Whether it is working with those relocating to the area, her long-term clients searching in a preferred neighborhood, or buyers who are either upsizing or downsizing, Catherine carefully tailors her efforts to each individual's needs and preferences.
