Cathy Matthews

Cathy Matthews is well-known in the community and has deep roots in Delaware, where she was born. Cathy graduated from Dickinson High School and continued her studies at the University of Delaware. Together with her husband, Jim, they have five children who now live across California, Delaware, New York, and Virginia.
Throughout her career, Cathy has built a diverse professional background in HR, education, and hospitality, which has helped her develop strong communication skills. She has over 15 years of experience in property management, spent 12 years as a part-time real estate agent, and worked for two decades as assistant director for conferences and events at the University of Delaware. After retiring from the University, Cathy became a full-time real estate agent, seeking greater flexibility for her family while continuing to serve her community.
Cathy is hands-on throughout the property marketing and sales process, placing great importance on hard work and client privacy. With extensive experience in Delaware and Cecil County, Maryland, she helps clients find the right homes and neighborhoods.
