Building, remodeling, buying and selling homes in North Lake Tahoe and Truckee areas since 1978 has given Charlene a tremendous knowledge of real estate, as well as the local building departments, planning agencies, and neighborhoods.
Becoming a full-time real estate agent in 1999 was a natural career move for Charlene. She enjoys working with both buyers and sellers through their real estate transactions. She works in a professional, honest, no- pressure, low-key manner and prides herself on the fact that most of her business is referral and repeat clients. She feels she isn’t just selling homes but a Lifestyle.
Charlene moved to the area with her high school sweetheart in 1978. They raised four wonderful children here and now have 5 fantastic grandchildren. Charlene can’t think of another place she would have rather raised her family and now her children have all come back to the area to start their careers and raise their own families.
Charlene has served as an elected director on the Tahoe Sierra Board of Directors for 8 years and is currently the President elect of the local Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors for the 2020-21 year. She is also a Director on the California State Association of Realtors, (CAR) and is the past elected President of the local Tahoe Sierra Multiple Listing 2018-19. As director she has learned so much about real state at the local, as well as State and National levels to advocate for the rights of all home owners. As a director it has provided her with a larger networking sphere of Realtors from all over California.
