Charlene Phillips aka Cookie, was born and raised in New York. Shortly, after graduating college she became a correctional officer at the infamous Rikers island. In 2004, she decided to relocate to Ocala, Florida.
The reason for her move was because she got “drafted” by her parents who retired and relocated to Florida. So many of you are familiar with this “draft” or maybe you’re currently in the process of it.
Many parents retire and migrate to Florida due to the beautiful weather and the cost of living. However, one thing that’s missing is family. Most retirees miss their children and their grandchildren and therefore they encourage their adult children to move, hence “The Florida Draft.”.
During her time here in Florida she has worked as a child protective investigator and she is currently a probation and parole officer. Cookie’s passion is helping people and serving the community. She decided to join the real estate industry due to her interest and her desire to help others in achieving their goal of finding their perfect home.
Cookie knows that relocating and purchasing a home is one of the most difficult and largest financial decision you’ll have to make.
Throughout her professional career she has been hard-working, honest, dedicated and passionate about everything she does.
She will be dedicated to you and your family whether you’re purchasing or selling your home.
She will ensure to listen to your wants and needs to obtain the best outcome for you and your family.
