My husband and I live in Ohio and were responsible for selling my elderly Mother's home in Williamsburg, Virginia. Not knowing the area, my husband and I did an on-line search for a reputable realtor in the Williamsburg area. Charlotte Turner had excellent reviews, so we chose her to help us with the sale of my Mother's home.
Charlotte knows the Williamsburg area and is well connected. She made a daunting task go smoothly. She made several trips to the home prior to the listing, making recommendations on how to stage the home in order for it to sell.
Charlotte was working with my husband and I in addition to a Trustee from Old Point Bank who is the executor of my parents estate. Charlotte kept us informed on the progress of the sale and gave us contact information for area companies to help us clear the home of belongings.
Charlotte is professional, respectful and always friendly. We had such a wonderful experience with her service. The home sold immediately after it was listed.
This was all successfully accomplished working together long distance from Ohio to Virginia.

We started working with Charlotte after having issues with two prior real estate agents in Williamsburg - one was simply rude and acted like we were wasting her time and the other just wouldn't return our calls or texts within a reasonable time-frame. Charlotte has been my realtor for the past 10 years. I met her when I was pregnant with my first child. She found us the perfect starter home in a fabulous neighborhood. Our family started growing and we needed to expand. Charlotte came through again.

Our family grew a bit more and my mom is planning to move in with us. We needed a home with a separate place for my mom in a market where houses are few and far between.

After I lost the first 2 houses to all cash offers I was discouraged, but Charlotte was right there with me. If a house hit the market we were looking at it the same day, if not the following day. She would even meet me Friday nights and Sunday mornings.

When I found the perfect house Charlotte called the seller’s realtor to dig deeper to ensure we could get this house.

Other offers came in and my heart sunk, Charlotte never stopped communicating between the seller’s realtor and me. They accepted my offer and we got it. The deal closed 2 months ago and Charlotte still checks on me, she gave me advice on countertops and paint colors. She knows my children by name and by their nicknames!

She knows Williamsburg inside and out. She can tell you the HOA fees in any neighborhood. She knows where I work and could provide commute times.

With Charlotte you have someone who cares before and long after the deal is done. She is much more than a realtor!

When I say Charlotte exceeded our expectations (which, as a career corporate real estate professional, can be a tad too high at times) I mean it.

We gave her an impossible task (location, price, amenities, etc.) and in what felt like no time, she had more options than I could imagine.

Because of my job I can be tough to get ahold of. Because Charlotte is so immersed in this crazy and competitive real estate market, she ensured she over-communicated and fought hard to get us the house we were looking for (and then some).

We were able to find, offer, and close on our dream home in a great waterfront Country Club community in what felt like NO time from 8 states away. She was Johnny on the spot with e-docs, pictures, inspections, etc. and was so personally invested in our purchase, it felt like family!

We had a great experience working with Charlotte as our Realtor. She was our buyers agent when we bought our home 8 years ago, and when I called her out of the blue (8 years later) she remembered who I was and the home we had bought!

She came and did a walk through of our home, gave us some tips on how best to prepare it for taking pictures and we set a date. The pictures were gorgeous and the day our house went on the market we did six showings! Charlotte negotiated with buyers and got us a really great offer on our home.

My family is taking a short trip to meet with my husbands two other children for some overdue family time. My step- daughter lives in NC and step-son is a navy sailor and stationed in Japan for past 3 years. His son is coming home for a 13 day leave and we are meeting at the Colonies in Williamsburg. My husband has never been able to get pictures of all 4 of his kids including us together and I wanted to surprise him for fathers day a family photo shoot. I called the resort and they were not helpful at all and could not recommend any photographers or even wanted to try to help me find someone. Since I live in Maryland, I have no idea whats available and was very upset that I was getting no help.
I decided to google real estate agents in the area and thats when I found Charlotte. Her business was the only one open today and she actually answered my call. I didn't have to leave a message or send an email or jump through any other hoops. I was thrilled just to be able to talk to someone on the phone. Charlotte listened to my situation and I told her what I was looking for. I felt bad calling and not wanting to buy or sell a home but within 5 minutes, she had a friend Christi call me. Christi was more than happy to full-full my requests and we booked a time for pictures. Christi was very excited and happy to take our photos and didn't even ask me to put down a deposit. Charlotte and Christi are people who truly have beautiful hearts and would do anything to help someone out, its not about making a dollar to them, its just who they are. Its no wonder Charlotte has tons of contacts and people who will do anything for her. Charlotte even let me know if Christi was not available she had others she could call.
Charlotte Turner is an extraordinary you can feel her kindness by having a conversation with her. She didn't hesitate to offer personal contacts to a stranger because it helped me. Like the hotel receptionist she could have easily blown me off and hung up the phone, but thankfully she did not.I 100% recommend calling Charlotte if you need any help with reality services. Finding people Like Charlotte in the reality business is rare. The five minutes I spoke with her I would trust her to sell me house or buy me a house without even meeting her. WOW!!! Finding Charlotte on the internet has been a true blessing. I called her on a Sunday morning and she answered her phone and was happy to listen to my situation. Charlotte was more than happy to make any necessary phone calls to help me get what I needed. Charlotte is very know;edgbeable and due to her wonderful personality has a huge contact list for all different services. Within 5 minutes Charlotte was able to have someone call me and I was able to get what I needed. I did a little more digging and determine she would be a good fit for my client. I gave her a call and she answered right away (an unusual/unheard of thing in some markets). Charlotte was knowledgeable, very hospitable and a tough negotiator. She ended up finding a great home for my clients and gave them great service throughout the transaction.

When we were notified recently that we would be moving to Virginia we started doing a little research. We kept seeing Charlotte's name on a variety real estate sites offering advice as well as large number of great reviews posted over the past several years from clients.

We decided to give her a call and talk to her about our situation (needing to buy a house more or less remotely). Charlotte was extremely invaluable in helping us narrow down our search and then she used several different tools to help us view homes remotely. We felt quite comfortable with Charlotte being our eyes and ears in Williamsburg. We put an offer in on a home we had only seen by video and when we finally were able to walk through during the home inspection we felt we already had been there.

Charlotte has a great network of contractors, inspectors, mortgage people and pretty much anything else we needed in the area. She's a great negotiator, she's extremely personable and a true professional.

All the problems that arose during the time of the sale, for example with the contractor, it was handled with confidence by achieving an agreement between the work and its completion in time for the final day of the sale. Also repair requirements requested by the buyer were carefully analyzed by her achieving a fair settlement. Charlotte did a great job listing our home and getting the word out. She was available for showings and open house days. She cooks a great chicken and dumpling available for people during open house day. Charlotte is very responsive and professional. Charlotte will take the best pictures of your home, and in today's market that's what brought the people to see our home. We needed to sell our home during the winter months and also find someone willing to rent back to us though the end of the school year and Charlotte found us that buyer. We closed and are now renting back just like we asked, way to go Charlotte!! We highly recommend Charlotte as a real estate agent.
