Originally from Goa, India, Cheryl speaks Hindi and English fluently. She started professionally with International Computers Limited in India, and was later transferred to the company’s operations in England. Cheryl lived and worked in the UK for over 10 years, and in 2003, she and her husband immigrated to NYC. She lives in Midtown East with her three children, who attend a prestigious private school in Manhattan.
Cheryl’s sense of honesty, integrity, hard work and dedication was instilled in her by her father, a member of the Goa Legislative assembly for over 20 years. Causes she cares about include children and improving education.
