Chris Carrillo serves as the CEO of Metro MLS and Wiredata. Metro MLS serves over 9,000 members in 2,300 offices and provides public records to multiple companies statewide.
Chris volunteers in a variety of MLS leadership roles in the industry. He actively serves on the NAR MLS Issues and Policies Committee, NAR’s MLS Executive’s Advisory Board, and the COVE Group. He also is on the Wisconsin Realtors Association Board of Directors. He previously served on the NAR MLS Technology and Emerging Issues Advisory Board. Chris’ position on the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) allow him to accomplish his beliefs of bringing MLSs, Brokers, and technology partners from across the country together to streamline transactions and help the industry with greater efficiency.
Chris served as the 2019 Chairman for the Council of Multiple Listing Service (CMLS), where he helped form the MLS industry’s future. He was the recipient of the 2019 CMLS Peter Shuttleworth MLS Executive of the Year award. In 2019, Chris also earned the highest distinction an MLS Executive can achieve by receiving his CMLX3 designation. Chris is on the Swanepoel Power 200 Most Powerful People in Real Estate List and was named to RIS Media’s Influencer’s list as a “Thought Leader.”
Chris currently co-chairs the first NAR MLS Standards Work Group to help create standards that all MLSs must follow to deliver consistent services to REALTORS® and excellence in the marketplace.
In March 2018, Chris and Matt Consalvo (CEO of ARMLS) announced the first non-contiguous joint venture between Metro MLS and ARMLS, which formed the new corporation MARKT LLC. Chris also is an Outside Director for the ARMLS Board of Directors.
Chris is also an MLS Aligned founder, a company created to address the data efficiency problems facing Multiple Listing Services. MLS Aligned was awarded the first runner-up of the Inman Innovator Awards in July 2019.
When he’s not playing MLS, Chris and his wife are big fans of Waukesha South sports by watching their sons compete on the football field and the wrestling mat and watching one of them sing on stage in choir. Chris is a veteran of the United States ARMY MP Corp and attended Northern Illinois University.
