About Chris

Originally from Wilmington, NC, I have called Raleigh home for the past 34 years. I began my career in real estate here in the Triangle over 22 years ago and am more passionate about the home buying and selling process now than the day I started.

I started working in real estate in new construction, selling homes for several large builders. After a number of standout years in sales, I decided to transition into management as Director and Vice President of Sales & Marketing for two of the largest builders in the Triangle. During my 9 years in management, I personally participated in negotiating thousands of successful real estate transactions with exceptional customer satisfaction. That is the level of experience and business acumen I will use to help you get the best possible value when buying or selling one of the most important investments in your life.

In 2013 I decided to join Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston, the Triangle's largest and most successful firm. Since joining the Falls office, I have been a top producing agent every year. In 2018, I was recognized as the #1 Top Producing agent in the Falls office. That was accomplished largely through repeat and referral business from happy clients.

My reputation has been built on attention to detail, follow through, tough negotiation skills and exceptional customer service. I look forward to using my experience and passion to help you achieve your real estate goals.

I balance my work with an active family life with my wife and partner of 24 years, Angie, and three wonderful children, Jack, Alex and Jude. I also enjoy cooking, gardening, tennis, cross fit, music and spending time with family.

Chris and Angie were amazing people to work with! I lived out of state, so it was difficult to make it to viewings, so they would FaceTime me in so I could get a thorough walkthrough of the whole house without being physically present. They were on top of new homes that fit my criteria and were easy to communicate with. As a first time home buyer, they helped me learn and feel comfortable throughout the home buying process. Even after closing on the home, they have made it known that I can ask them about anything I may need help with for the home! I would highly reccomend working with them!

Chris and Angie Martin are a great Real Estate Team and I would highly recommend their services. Their market knowledge, experience and professionalism helped us sell our home in Franklinton recently, without any issues, and at asking price. The process went smoothly which allowed us to concentrate on the purchase of our new constructed home in Youngsville. Chris was also instrumental in this purchase. Purchasing and selling real estate can be a very stressful experience. Chris helped us navigate the process and my husband and I are very grateful for his calming and reassuring manner. Chris was fantastic to work with! He is knowledgeable about the area, industry, and current markets. As a first time home buyer, I appreciated his patience and willingness to teach me about the process.

He is quick to respond to messages and takes initiative in every step of the process so there are no delays. I found Chris to be very adaptable with whichever communication method worked best for me at the time (call, text, email etc.).
