In 2020, after eight years of care-giving, my wife and I both lost our mothers; feeling (understandably) untethered from the world at large, we sold our house, bought a 40 foot long motorhome, and hit the road. We supported two small businesses while we traveled – no easy feat in the best of times, even more difficult during a global pandemic.
Previously, I successfully led transformation at F1 (Walmart), F500’s (Whirlpool, General Dynamics, Novartis, Syngenta, SCANA), privately held (Aasonn), non-profit (Integrated Benefits Institute), and pre-Venture Capital (ThinkX, Inc.) companies. In each situation, I have led these organizations to establish solutions for their most complex challenges.I recognize that I am just one part of the great teams I have served in my career.
In 2023, we sold the motorhome, and moved from Naples,FL to Beaufort, SC to build a home on a nearby Sea Island. The area has caused me to have a “failed retirement” as I quickly came to love this beautiful area. I viewed the real estate industry as being ready for innovation, so I am applying my business and executive experiences to serve others through residential real estate.
