Luckily, a relative recommended Chris Walker. Chris was professional, knowledgeable and competent! He consistently checked back after showings to get feedback from potential buyers. We have had the pleasure of doing business with Chris Walker at Walker Real Estate Group not once but 3 times.! Chris has helped us find our forever home 12 years ago in Laguna Niguel, sell our Laguna Niguel rental a year 1/2 ago and then most recently sell my parents and my childhood home located in Dana Point after their passing. The selling of my parents home was extremely difficult and emotional for me and my sisters. This was the home my parents purchased in 1976, it was my Dad’s palace, his pride and joy. Chris was not only professional but sensitive and empathetic to our feelings. He walked us through the process and wanted us to find the perfect buyers. He had incredible pictures taken of the house that displayed the homes uniqueness and beauty. He held an open house as well as private showings. The home was on the market for only 6 days before we received 4 offers!! We were ecstatic and so thankful! Chris helped us go through the offers and communicated with buyer agents in a timely matter and we chose the best offer for us! We had a 21 day escrow that went incredibly smooth with no problems. Chris stayed patient with us through the process of us looking for a house. We first starting just looking at houses as we mulled over the idea of buying a house. Then what were we looking for? Garage number? Color Palate? Kitchen style? Bedroom Number? Pool? Etc? He helped us determine what specifically were looking for. Over this process, he would see houses come on the market and he had a sense of which ones would work for our wants and needs. We have been offering many houses in the past 4 -5 months in the irvine markets, very competitive, our offers were rejected every single time. We were about to give up. Our friend referred Chris to us for final try. When we started working with Chirs, he provided us a confident and knowledge about real estates. He reviewed and recommended a couple things changes on our proposal to make us a strong and attractive buyer. Only 3 weeks of working with him, our offer got accepted, especially with the price that we wanted. We were so thrilled to final own a beautiful property in Irvine city. We recently sold our house with Chris as our agent. From the very beginning of the process, Chris gave us confidence that he would help us through the process and get our house sold. He put together an impressive marketing plan, including a "backyard bbq open house" and an array of social media and targeted printed communication. He has a strategic approach to building excitement around a house coming to market and it was evident by the turnout at our open house that he had done a great job driving traffic to the event.
We had multiple offers on our house and within just over a week we were in escrow. The escrow process was not without issue though; we went into escrow as the stock market was crashing and as pandemic fears changed buyer sentiment and the housing market cooled. We lost our first buyer to pandemic jitters but with a quick pivot we sold to a buyer from the original open house. We sold in a very weird time and Chris was there the whole way through giving sound advice. His experience really showed throughout the process and he cheerily entertained my thousand questions at every stage. He is responsive, professional, and gives his all to helping his clients achieve their dreams. We would use him again in a second and would highly recommend.
