We were not actively looking for a house and thus not working with a realtor when we stumbled upon one that would be perfect us. Ned knew Chris was a real estate agent, reached out to him on a Saturday afternoon. Chris responded immediately with interest and advice. By Monday he had showed us the house and negotiate an accepted offer. He then assisted us in listing my house and negotiating that sale. The process of buying and selling simultaneously is inherently stressful and he steered us through seamlessly. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone buying/selling in the Capital District. We recently closed on our home and Chris was our realtor. The sale of our home was not ideal. My husband took a job 900 miles away. We packed and moved within 5 weeks of accepting the job. It was extremely fast. Chris came on the scene 3.5 months after our move, when we decided to change realtors. We never met with Chris in person, the entire sale of the home was done through tons of phone calls, e-mails and text. Since we were so far away Chris also took care of EVERYTHING for the home. He had professional photo's taken of the home, cleaned our house, made sure it was heated correctly, when we decided to make repairs he was there to work with professionals and make sure the work was done correctly, dealt with upkeep of snow removal, prepped the house for each and every showing and open house, collected mail that was still showing up at the house, he was at the house multiple times a week to check on it and make sure everything was ok. Seriously he did it ALL. If you are looking for a full service realtor, you have found it with Chris. His attention to detail is amazing, he makes you feel like you are his only client. Chris met with us early on in our house selling process. He walked through our house, discussed with us our wishes, then went home and prepared a check list for us to follow (if we wanted) of things that he recommended we take care of in order to maximize our sale. He then let us move at our pace, never once pressuring us to get things done and list our house. We think he was actually surprised when we re-contacted him months later and said lets do it! He revisited our house, saw the changes we made, and went home and prepared a sell sheet, with area comparables. We worked on a fair market price together, did our research, and prepared our listing. Chris sent an awesome photographer to present our house to the public, used social media blitzes a week before we even listed, teasing interested people. Want to know what happened? House sold in less than 2 days at full asking price! This obviously left us homeless. So we moved on to the hunt stage, again working with Chris in an area much further away. Chris listened to our needs, did his homework, set up numerous viewings, and was extremely patient. The hunt took longer than we wanted, but we ended up with the absolute perfect house. And Chris was firm with the negotiating, putting our financial desires ahead of all else. We do not plan on ever moving again, but if we do, we would contact Chris in a heartbeat.
