2023 UPDATE! We're so excited! Chris just helped us purchase a new home in a highly competitive market. Many of the homes we visited had complicated city/county requirements (sewer-lateral replacement, sidewalk replacement) or just lots of work needed. Chris was well-informed about local ordinances and also took the time to read through disclosures-- even late into the night--and tell us what was important/critical work to be done. This market is highly competitive and when we found a great home, Chris advised us on the right amount over the asking price that we needed to bid to be competitive. When the counter offer came back, he saved us 10K. We know that comparable homes we had visited sold for 150K more and we feel we got a deal. Now we'll be getting our former house ready for sale and we will have Chris on board again. We know he takes the time to understand his clients' needs, wants, attitudes and lifestyle. This saves time since we don't waste time looking at properties that won't fit the bill. Chris is honest and never pushy. As buyer or seller, you are in charge and he is at your disposition as a resource. His expertise is one of the reasons we continue to work with him - as a trained architect and engineer, a former homebuilder, and credentialed real estate broker, he is never short of answers or resources. Highly recommend!

Feb 2022 - We feel very lucky to have had Chris in our corner. We needed to sell my mother-in-law’s home in Alamo that was in a trust. Since she had passed away a few months earlier, we were told by our trust manager that we should try to sell it within six months of her passing for tax reasons. Chris is very qualified in all aspects of real estate including properties under trust or even those required to go through probate, which is not a qualification all realtors have. As when Chris helped us purchase our new home in 2013 through a short sale, he explained all the paperwork and the entire process and timeline to us. Chris never pressured us to make a decision one way or another; he just explained the advantages, disadvantages and risks of making specific decisions within the context of market trends. He made sure that we were comfortable with the paperwork, even adding an amendment to the purchase agreement to remove any ambiguity. He worked together with us on the mammoth job of clearing out items from a family home that had been in the same family for 60 years, even helping move a few final furniture items and he was especially careful to be sure no momentos were left behind. We opted for a before-market sale and this was overall a very smooth process, accomplished in less than two month’s time from the day we first toured the property with Chris to closing. Whatever your situation is, I would recommend Chris since he is qualified and experienced in complicated real estate transactions. He makes himself available at all hours. Buying and selling a home can be an emotional process and Chris is there for you, at whatever chapter of life you are in.

Christian was my agent in a very difficult multiple offer market in Walnut Creek. He was very knowledgeable and reliable. He explained all the phrases of my transaction and what I needed to do in order to be able to purchase this house. His excellent negotiation skills allowed me to be able to purchase my home.
