About Christina

Christina is a native Texan from Austin. Christina graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with a degree in Marketing. She has been in the hospitality industry for over 27 years, working in New York City, Washington DC, and Austin both in hotels and in regional sales for hotel companies. Christina worked with the Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau for 5 ½ years and sold Austin as a tourism and convention destination. If anyone knows Austin inside and out she does! After leaving corporate America several years ago, Christina joined her husband Michael in the residential real estate industry as an owner, Realtor®, and marketing expert. Her passion for people and networking is a real plus in the real estate industry. She loves getting to know people, what makes them tick, and what do they need to be happy? Christina and Michael truly are the reason we were even able to get a home in this crazy Austin market. For weeks, they were in constant communication with us, setting up showings, driving out to meet us at houses at a moments notice, and walking us through every step of the way as first time homebuyers. They treated us as though we were their own family, advising us when something wasn't a good investment or financial decision. Christina Underwood literally saved the day on our house sale. Before meeting her, we had put our home on the market, using a friend as our real estate broker. However, that agent disagreed with us on pricing and procedures, so we parted ways. I received Christina and Michael Underwood's names from a neighbor, interviewed the Underwoods within a few hours, and was so impressed, my husband and I asked them to represent us. Within a day, our house was back on the MLS system. And within two weeks, we had more than 20 showings and an amazing offer. Beyond that, however, Christina and her assistant handled the many tricky details, freeing us from worry during the escrow process. What I liked most about Christina's service was that she listened to our concerns and backed us up about pricing. We received an amazing offer, and that was due to Christina's relationship management skills. Overall, we highly recommend.
