Hello! My name is Christine Folker. I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little bit about myself.
I am and have been a Pitman resident for about three years now – Pitman is a wonderful small town in southern New Jersey about 20 minutes outside of Philadelphia, PA (on the Jersey side). I enjoy all kinds of sports - biking, hiking, ocean kayaking, fishing, and swimming. But most of all (when I am not working) I enjoy being with my two little girls – they truly are what makes the world go ‘round!
Professionally, I am a member of the National Association of Realtors®, the Gloucester-Salem County Board of Realtors, the TreND Multiple Listing Service and the Jersey Shore MLS. I plan on furthering my education by attending various classes sponsored by the diverse professional organizations of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). My first goal is to obtain my CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation issued by NAR. I hope to have my schooling completed and designation issued by the middle of 2008.
I have four years of mortgage experience with two of those years in sales and the other two years in mortgage processing This gave me a well-rounded knowledge of the mortgage banking industry and this experience is priceless when I am representing a buyer or seller. Understanding the back-room protocol of the mortgage banking industry allows me to confidently explain the mortgage process to all of my clients.
Having been fascinated with real estate business and all that Realtors do to assist their buyers and sellers, the an opportunity presented itself for me to join the professional staff at Budd Realty in Woodbury, a town I grew up in and graduated high-school from. I became and case processor and administrative assistant at Budd Realty. The closer I got to the sales associates, buyers and sellers the more I wanted to enter the field of real estate sales and consulting. As a result, I attended real estate classes and obtained my professional real estate sales person license – I have been a licensed sales associate ever since. Most recently, I had resigned my position as a full time salaried employee of the company to enter the sales field on a full time basis.
