Chris helped us buy our home in the suburbs. In this hot market, it was nothing short of a miracle! He is very experienced and helped us with his own contacts for this process and the people he has recommended have all been as wonderful as him. He is always responsive and respectful of our time and is great with scheduling everything ahead. All around, a great communicator!
Aside from all this, the most important thing is that we love hanging out with Chris! He is great company on viewings, and a pleasure to be around, which is an understated quality of any realtor. You want to be doing one of the biggest transactions in your life with someone you actually like!

What a genuinely wonderful experience. Chris took the time to assist us for over 2 years to find our dream home. He did not push us into buying the property that was for sale - he helped us to find the right home for us. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and assisted us making an offer under asking price - he was truly our advocate and confidant. Chris helped us find a new home in Philadelphia and sell our old one as well. Through the process, Chris was wonderful to work with. He's patient, knowledgeable, responsive, provides excellent advice, and has a sterling reputation within the industry.

Chris took us on multiple trips to see homes throughout South Jersey and Philadelphia. He was able to schedule showings to accommodate our busy schedules, and he never pressured us on any decisions...even though it took almost a year to find our home. He was there every step of the way: finding a home, making an offer, negotiating a contract, home inspection, financing, closing, and even helping us after closing!

When selling our previous home, Chris advised us on simple repairs and upgrades to enhance a prospective buyer's impression. He put together a great write-up for the listing, took phenomenal pictures, and maximized the marketing efforts. Our home sold quickly and at a price that we were very happy with.

What is there to say about Chris Baker? A wonderful human being and a consummate professional who looks out for your needs. Over the course of 2021, Chris saw around 45 houses with me in my grueling house search, putting in multiple offers on various houses and went to contract on another house before finding my house in South Philly. I am a first time home buyer and had tons of questions, concerns and wavering about what and where I wanted to buy. Every step of the way Chris was informative, responsive, and patient. During that search I also had the pleasure of spending a lot of time together with Chris and I enjoyed every minute of his company. I sincerely hope we continue to have a relationship for many years to come. Moving from another state, we needed a lot of help in choosing the right area for our family. Chris was right there the whole time, making sure we saw houses within our budget and fitting our other needs such as schools and neighborhood feel. I can’t even begin to express how instrumental Chris was in the search for our new home. He is incredibly dedicated to his clients and went absolutely above and beyond for us in our search. He said showed us 39 houses in total over the course of about two months on weekends only. Though I would venture to say 39 houses is an underestimation. He bent over backwards make sure we were well informed about every home we saw and obtained answers to every question we had about all homes that we considered. I would venture to say that Chris and I spoke after 9pm during this period more than I spoke with anyone else during that period. He truly knows Philadelphia inside and out, and was able to communicate with other agents to negotiate a contract in our favor and has continued to support us even after closing with whatever we have asked of him. He is even holding the keys to our new home until I’m ready to go and get them. He is a true professional, knows the business extremely well, and works harder for his clients than anyone I’ve ever dealt with. Long story short, Chris is one of the best and I would highly recommend his services to anyone in search of a home. He put in the time and effort from the beginning to end of our process, and was an absolute class act the entire time. We would love to work with Chris again the next time around as well. Chris helped me buy a new house and sell the one I was living in, a situation I had never been in before and was incredibly anxious about. He was always a phone call away and has the experience and temperament to ease the anxiety that comes from holding two mortgages at the same time. When it came time to sell, his photographer/videography did such an amazing job, I almost didn't want to sell. His sales strategy was brilliant, and we sold at $35K over asking, I'm not saying he can do that for everyone, yet when it comes to me selling my current house, Chris will the the agent I call first.

Chris assisted me throughout the purchase of my home. Along the way, he educated me about the regulations and hurdles of purchasing and insuring my home. There wasn’t a phone call he didn’t answer. When he was uncertain about the particulars of my question, he tracked it down and got back to me within a day. I took it upon myself to negotiate with the homeowner and when I called Chris immediately with the information, he told me that I had bid way too high given that the owner was VERY motivated and the house needed work that could be costly. Despite my embarrassment he talked me through calling the homeowner as soon as I hung up the phone, with an offer $3,000 less than what I’d offered.  Guess what? The owner accepted immediately. I received sound advice, supportive coaching, and saved money.
Chris is warm and personable, calm, easy to spend time with, and reassuring under stressful conditions (which a home purchase always seems to be). He’s just what ANYONE would want in a real estate agent, A+. I can highly recommend him.

My wife and I closing on our 2nd purchase with Chris Baker and we have already sold two previous homes with Chris. All transactions, including one done remotely, went exceptionally smooth and all our needs were met. Chris delivers exactly what he commits to do for his clients. I would say his strongest, among many, attributes in this profession are 1) he is very responsive, 2) he is patient and will show you as many properties as it takes, 3) his attention to detail is unmatched, and 4) he supports you throughout the entire process. I have to recommend Chris Baker to anyone selling their house.

As a first time seller, I was nervous, had a ton of questions, and Chris was always patient and quick to answer. Whomever he employed to take the listings photos and make the video, almost made me reconsider selling the house, great work! His strategy for a listing price showed his understanding of the market and an expertise that is only gained by experience.

I cannot recommend Chris more strongly and would absolutely use him again.
