Christopher Curtis has 16 years experience in industrial, office, investment and vacant land real estate in Northern and Central Illinois. Curtis’ business philosophy is “To provide the client with exact and concise knowledge of the marketplace in a professional and ethical manner in an effort to service their commercial real estate needs from fruition of an idea, completion of the assignment and continuing on with the client’s future projects and needs.”
Background:
In 2007 Curtis joined with long time friend and former colleague Joe Nugent and became a Principal with Nugent Curtis Real Estate. Curtis began his career with Perry Group in 1992 and currently represents the real estate interest of clients in the disposition and/or acquisitions of industrial/commercial real estate. He has represented and assisted several industrial and office assignments for corporate clients such as National City Bank of Michigan/Illinois, Salomon Smith Barney, Inc., Mutual of Omaha Insurance, ITW-Angleboard Riverwood International and Van Leer Containers. Other assignments have included the disposition of investment properties for the likes of Cohen Financial and Colonial Trust Company as well as retail leasing for several power centers procuring tenants such as MC Sporting Goods, Sylvan Learning Center and Auto Zone.
Curtis is an active member of Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. SIOR members are considered the most capable and experienced brokerage practitioners in any market with only 2,500 active members worldwide and 146 members in the State of Illinois achieving such designation. Curtis also has a background in architecture and computer aided design & drafting. He started a computer drafting company, Curkam, in 1991 and has completed several projects in Kankakee and Will County.
