Chris Knox, a Dallas native raised in the White Rock Lake area, is a seasoned Texas real estate investor, entrepreneur, and dedicated community leader. A proud graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School (Class of 1991) and Texas A&M University (Class of 1995), Chris is a former member of the prestigious Texas A&M Corps of Cadets and embodies the core values of leadership, loyalty, and integrity.
With deep Texas roots, Chris is a recognized Son of the Republic of Texas, honoring his family’s legacy as early Texas settlers prior to the state’s annexation in 1846. His commitment to Texas heritage and tradition also includes his role as a Commander of the Rockwall County Sheriff’s Posse, a mounted equestrian unit founded in 1991.
After college, Chris began his journey in real estate investing, purchasing and managing properties across Dallas and Rockwall. His hands-on experience includes property renovation, management, and sales, with a focus on residential real estate, investment opportunities and farm and ranch properties.
Chris is proud to be part of Legacy & Co Real Estate, continuing the legacy of his late mother-in-law, Cissi Scott, a beloved fixture in Rockwall real estate from 1987 to 2020. Cissi worked hand in hand with the Holland family during her career and established deep ties to the community. She set an example for her children and grandchildren through her hard work, dedication and reputation for going above and beyond for her clients. She served families with expertise, heart and friendship long after the real estate transaction. Chris brings the same dedication and client-first mindset that earned her a reputation for excellence and establishing relationships that last long after a singular real estate transaction.
Beyond real estate, Chris has over 30 years of experience as an independent auto dealer, known for his trusted client relationships, repeat business, and seamless transactions. He served the industry in numerous roles including president of the Texas Independent Auto Dealers Association. His deep involvement in the industry formed connections across the state and sharpened his negotiation skills. He applies the same principles of trust, transparency, and efficiency to his real estate career. His reputation as a trusted advisor, dedicated Texan, and community servant makes him a valuable asset to clients and neighbors alike.
A long-time Heath and Rockwall county resident since 2005, Chris and his wife, Jenni Knox (Rockwall High School alumna), are actively involved in the Rockwall-Heath community, where they are raising three children. Their oldest two children are college students at Texas A&M University and Texas Tech University. Their youngest daughter is a high school student and rodeo athlete competing in barrel racing and breakaway roping. Their family is engaged in Rockwall ISD schools, have served in numerous roles in philanthropic organizations such as National Charity League, Young Men’s Service League, Rotary, Aspasians, Rockwall ISD PTA, 4-H, East Trinity Masonic Lodge and are active members of the First United Methodist Church of Rockwall.
