Christy Carroll is an experienced agent located in Richmond, Virginia with a passion for guiding clients through the buying and selling process. With a background in education as a middle school teacher, Christy has impeccable organization skills, attention to detail, & patience enabling her to provide superb client service. This, coupled with her local knowledge & expert negotiation skills empower Christy to provide expert representation to each client she works with.

Growing up, Christy’s mother instilled in her the mantra of always doing what was required of her & “then some.” Christy has lived this phrase in all facets of her life which translates into going above & beyond for her clients. Born in North Carolina, Christy’s family made several challenging moves, during which she became intimately aware of the challenges & fears her parents faced while relocating; while buying & selling a home is often exciting, the tasks involved can still be daunting. Because of this, Christy always makes a point to treat her clients with empathy & care.

In 1999, Christy became a licensed real estate agent in Richmond, VA, representing clients across Central Virginia. Then, ten years ago, Christy & her colleague Nancy formed The Carroll & Garrison Team. Living in the same neighborhood, Christy & Nancy initially worked together while aiding neighbors in the buying or selling of their homes within the neighborhood. They worked so well together, they decided to expand their neighborhood alliance into a formal partnership. Christy & Nancy are now a 50/50 team on all real estate transactions, adding another level of service to their representation. When working with The Carroll & Garrison Team, clients can experience the high touch, personal value of a designated agent, & the support of a team structure at the same time. With constant support & open communication, they form relationships with their clients that go far beyond the end of the transaction.

In her spare time, Christy enjoys baking, refinishing furniture, and relaxing at the beach with family & friends. Christy lives in Henrico County with her husband & 2 children- her son is a student at James Madison University while her daughter attends High School in Henrico. Over the years, their involvement in sports have kept Christy busy outside of real estate! Christy also loves to participate in a variety of community benefits & fundraisers in any way she can, whether that is organizing the efforts herself, or simply spreading the word about ways to benefit the community.
