Christy Gibbs

Christy Gibbs is a member of the Greater Worcester Board of Realtors, Massachusetts Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. She has recently completed coursework to earn the ABR, Accredited Buyer Representative designation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors who meet specified educational and practical experience criteria.

Prior to becoming a Realtor, Christy worked as a marketing professional in the retail management industry. In this capacity, she worked as the Assistant Marketing Director at Auburn Mall, Auburn, MA, and later as the Marketing Director at Worcester Common Fashion Outlets, Worcester, MA. She earned the professional designation of Certified Marketing Director during her tenure in the retail management field from the International Council of Shopping Centers.

In addition to her position at these area shopping centers, she served as a board member and officer of the AdClub of Greater Worcester. It is the charge of the AdClub to advance the level of professionalism and creativity of the advertising industry within the greater Worcester County. She served as chairperson on various committees including Membership and The Mary T. Holland Awards for Creative Excellence.

A 1988 graduate of Simmons College, Boston MA, she holds a BS in Communications and Marketing. As part of her studies, she attended Harlaxton College, Grantham, England, where she advanced her studies while touring many European countries.

Raised in Worcester, Christy has been a proud Rutland resident since 1991 where she lives in Rutland with her husband Jeffrey and their four children.
