Colleen graduated from Appalachian State University where she received a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration, with a concentration in finance and insurance.
Colleen met her husband, Michael while attending school in Boone, NC. They raised their daughter, Katie Rose in the Sherrills Ford, NC area. Katie now lives in Chapel Hill after graduating from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Colleen and her family are involved in various community service activities and are passionate animal lovers! They share their home with 2 cats a ( Elsa, and Bella) and Molly, her rescue Lab. When Colleen is not busy volunteering, she and her family enjoy boating, fishing, and hosting many friends and family at their home on Lake Norman.
