About Colleen
Colleen’s professional life is extremely important to her. Actively licensed since 2004, she has had the pleasure of helping people fulfill their dreams. While she does love her job, and could not imagine doing anything else, Colleen values family more than anything. She and her husband Mike have been married since 2004, and they have four beautiful children — 3 girls and a boy. She is also the youngest of five children.
Colleen grew up in a blue-collar area in Northeast Philadelphia. Hard work was instilled in Colleen since the day she was born. Her dad is a retired Philadelphia Police Lieutenant as well as a school district police officer, and her mom spent 40 years as a preschool teacher.
She has always loved to work. At the age of four, Colleen would follow her brothers around while they delivered the local newspaper. Meanwhile, during the summer, she would tag along with my brothers as they sold newspapers outside of Wildwood Catholic High School. They spent their nights on the boardwalk in Wildwood — this is when her entrepreneurial dreams began as she listened to the French-speaking Canadian vacationers and business owners. She even enrolled in French in high school because she had visions of owning her own business on the boardwalk.
During summers in college, Colleen worked for a Title Insurance Company in Philadelphia, which exposed her to Real Estate. Little did she know she was being exposed to her professional passion. After graduating from Penn State University, she worked at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, which offered her magnificent work experience, but it was never something she became enthusiastic about — there was a professional void that needed to be filled.
Following my time at the DA’s office, Colleen decided to fill that void by going back to work at the Title Insurance company, which is where she eventually obtained her license to sell real estate — Colleen has not looked back since. While she did know it at the time, her experience in Title Insurance would end up helping Colleen differentiate herself from other realtors as it has helped her become even stronger when it comes to a sale. In her 14 years in real estate, she is proud to say she has closed over two hundred houses and her business is still growing.
