This wife, mother, and grandmother is a fit, Silver Sneaker Ambassador, President of Premier Media PR and Marketing, and a licensed Realtor Broker for Donovan Realty, LLC, Sunset Beach, NC, and a Realtor Broker for New Way Properties in North Myrtle Beach, SC. She is a National Association of Realtors designated Senior Real Estate Specialist and was recently included as one of the top-performing 15% of realtors in the nation. Connie Ross-Karl was named an Honorary Senior America in 2019 at the National Pageant in Atlantic City. As Ms. South Carolina Senior America 2007, she was first runner-up to Ms. Senior America at the National Pageant in Las Vegas. She is also the South Carolina Senior America State Administrator and has judged a variety of pageants in different age groups. Recently she became a certified SC Miss America judge. She has lived in North Myrtle Beach since 2005, where she has been a community leader and volunteer, and has successfully worked in the sales, marketing, real estate, and hospitality industries along the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach. The decade prior she was a hotel/casino executive for the largest sole proprietor hotelier in the world, working in the center of the Las Vegas Strip for the sixth largest hotel in the world; as a founding executive and the first director of advertising and marketing for the Las Vegas Motor Speedway; and opening the Mississippi Gulf Coast to Las Vegas-style gaming as an executive of Imperial Palace Biloxi. She was an award-winning co-host of Backstage Live nationally syndicated radio and television program and was named an Outstanding Woman in Tourism and Role Model for her professional leadership and community service. She won the Actress/Model Award at the 2018 Artist Music Guild Heritage Awards, based in Charlotte, NC. She has organized Senor Queens from various pageant systems and age groups to participate and to be honored at these important national live awards ceremonies broadcast annually to millions on Dish TV and in syndication since 2015 and to help raise funds for the Guild's many philanthropic projects. Originally from Topeka, Kansas, Connie is a summa cum laude graduate of Washburn University, where she was editor of the college newspaper, president of her class, and yearbook queen. She did her graduate work in Journalism at the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas.
