Cordula Didier

Born and raised in Germany, Cordula worked for 10 years as a journalist for an international business magazine, traveling between Duesseldorf, Paris, and Milan to write about marketing and business strategies in the fashion industry. She first came to the Bay Area in the 1980s and fell in love right away with the powerful mix of people and cultures, great food and wonderful nature and climate. Cordula returned frequently to visit family and long-established friends, thereby nurturing my love for this special place.

By 2004, Cordula and her husband decided to move with their two children to Berkeley. For them it was the perfect place to raise a family and become a strong part of a wonderful community. Cordula very much believes in strong communities, and she engages in the Northbrae neighborhood. Cordula supported her children’s public schools throughout their public education and was a regular volunteer at the Berkeley High School weekly, one of many rewarding ways she has been able to give something back to the community she thrives in so much herself.

Cordula became a realtor in 2005. The transition to real estate as a second career combines her professional marketing background with what she loves: collaborating with people and helping them to fulfill a dream, problem-solving when a transaction brings unexpected obstacles, and negotiating for her clients. Cordula’s background in international marketing, communication and visual merchandising has turned out to be extremely helpful when preparing a house for sale and marketing it.

Ethics and fairness are important values to Cordula and therefore are the pillars of her business. She believes that being transparent, straightforward, and fair in all her business transactions, as well as outside of business, is the way to live life.
