About Corey
Beginnings
As a local of North Texas, Corey was raised with his younger sister and grew up with fond memories at church, annual family trips to Colorado (and we must include) celebrated success as the Geography Bee Champion as an 8th grader. In high school, Corey had fun playing guitar in a band called “Souls on Fire”. Corey’s college years were spent in Abilene at Hardin-Simmons before he went to Waco’s Truett Seminary on the Baylor campus.
Work and Skills
Prior to funneling his skills into residential real estate, Corey worked as a professional counselor, a vocation that honed his ability to assess, listen, discern and execute interventions with care. Corey resonated with the idea of serving clients thru the often-complicated processes of home buying and selling. Corey sees myself as a valuable resource for my clients with the skills to discern the market, respectfully negotiate, and deliver great results in the buying and selling of homes.” He does this while maintaining exceptional communication throughout the process!
Priorities
Clients can find Corey coaching his kid’s sports, attending local concerts or possibly at one of his favorites like Sundance Square or on Magnolia Ave (likely eating Mexican food) and probably on a date with his sweet wife. Corey enjoys remodeling his 1920’s Craftsman home where he lives with his family in the Mistletoe Heights neighborhood. As director of the “Dad’s Club” at Lily B Clayton, Corey is involved where his wife teaches, and daughter attends elementary school. Also nearby, Corey serves as a deacon and leader at their church, Broadway Baptist, in a fun revitalizing part of Main Street in the Historic Southside. When not in the Fort, the kid in Corey still loves Colorado and Big Bend National Park is his absolute favorite backpacking destination. Corey does like an adventure!
