One might say that Coupar's financial savviness is in his roots. His father sat on the Federal Reserve Board and his name hails from a Scottish town known for being prudent with one’s pennies. However, Coupar's friends have nicknamed him “coupon,” and dubbed his name Coupar a verb, “to Coup it into a concert” which means to take in your own food & beverage. Being focused on finances is in his blood and comes naturally.
When Coupar is not telling people how to make sound financial decisions through real estate, he enjoys making his wife laugh and telling his two cheeky, teenage daughters how to save for the future. Weekly, Coupar can be seen honing his competitive spirit by playing one of his favorite sports: tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, golfing, or billiards. During the winter, Coupar adores Colorado’s mountains and honors them by teaching snowboarding for fun at Beaver Creek Resort.
