Cristi is the consummate pro. She convinced us to list our place lower than we wanted with the idea it would spark more interest and perhaps a bidding war. She was right. We had twelve showings the first weekend we listed, and five good offers within 3 days. We countered $300K more than we listed, had an immediate sale and closed within 3 weeks. Cristi guided us every step and was fantastic!

We were in a quandary as to who to choose as a real estate agent in the sale of our home. We did some research, and asked our niece, who is also in real estate in another state, do a little research as to the qualifications of the agents we were looking into.

We decided on Cristi, and her team at Compass, because she was the one, while working with the developer, who sold us our home originally 15 years prior, and our niece had given her a thumbs up.

Once we selected Cristi and Compass, we had several meetings about property values and what to market our house at before deciding on a price that we both thought was reasonable and within market values for our area. To our surprise the house sat, and sat, and sat on the market for about 2 1/2 months. We regrouped, lowered the price, and finally received an offer. But for some reason, they pulled out and we were back to square one on trying to sell our home. My wife and I, and Cristi, were beside ourselves wondering why such a prime location in San Diego‘s, Little Italy was not selling. She kept saying “ Have a little faith and patience, it will sell. We just need to find that right buyer.”

With Cristi’s knowledge and a little insistence, we finally decided to paint and stage the house, raise the selling price, and that made all the difference. Because my wife and I were already traveling, she fronted the staging and painting monies knowing that she would recoup that after the sale of the house. It was a leap of faith on her part, but because she had sold us the house, and we had that familiarity between us, she was not worried. That takes a special person/agent to do that for customer, and we really appreciated her for going above and beyond to help us sell our home. It’s sold in one day. Yeah!

My wife and I cannot praise Cristi and her team at Compass, Max, Carly, and Victor enough. They were all extremely professional when showing our home, making a point to show off all the special highlights and upgrades that we had done to our home over the 15 years that we owned it.

There are many real estate companies out there, and many real estate agents, and we are sure that many of them are good. But we found Cristi and her team at Compass to be OUTSTANDING, and can, without reservation, highly recommend them to anyone trying to sell their home. They go out of their way to make sure the homeowner is fully informed of the process, but more importantly, they make sure the clients are as unstressed during the selling process as possible.

We were looking for a new condo in downtown, and had just started working with a realtor who was showing us around. We met Cristi at one of our showings (she was the listing agent), and we were blown away with how knowledgable she was about all the condos in the downtown area. We moved into Pacific Gate in the first wave and got to witness Cristi’s work ethic and dedication to her clients first-hand over the next 3 years as she continued representing the Bosa sales department until the building was essentially full. Her dedication to the Bosa organization continued after joining Compass by trying to help move the last few properties remaining which, again, she did not have to do.
When we decided to sell our condo, we did not consider anyone but Cristi to represent us as our realtor. Cristi presented the market data, market trends, and a marketing plan in a very professional way. She listened to our desires and concerns and helped us decide on an approach and price that felt right.
Throughout the process, her communications and advise were spot on. She used her marketing creativity to virtually stage our home photos so we would not be inconvenienced. Her market approach paid off with multiple viewings quickly. Clients from her past had expressed an interest in obtaining a larger unit years ago. Cristi followed-up with them and introduced them to our property. Cristi ended up representing both that buyer and the us in the transaction. We do not know the ends and outs of real estate transactions but keeping both sides happy throughout the process must be no small feat. This is a testament to her wonderful interpersonal and negotiating skills.
We just turned over the keys to her with the transaction completed much quicker than we ever dreamed. We are sad, not just to be leaving our home for 3 years but sad that we will not be seeing Christi’s beautiful smile and engaging personality frequently. She has become more that a real estate broker to us, she is a friend. And we hope she will be a part of our circle of friends for many years to come.
