Crystal brings significant fund, real estate, and technology experience to the team with a mix of public and private accounting. She has deep experience with valuation techniques, financial analysis, modeling, process improvement, deal structuring, fund accounting, compliance, and investor relations.
Crystal was formerly a part of the InvestRes team in the multi-family real estate space where she served as the Controller over a portfolio of 1.5b in AUM consisting of traditional Funds and joint venture deals. She was responsible for fund and deal reporting, performance tracking, budgeting, updating of models, compliance, investor relations, capital accounts, and monthly close processes.
Before that, she was an Assurance Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in their Asset Management practice where she focused on private equity, hedge, real estate and mutual fund clients located in Japan, Ireland, the Cayman Islands, Bahamas, and the US. She was selected for PwC’s national engagement quality review program where she reviewed global engagements for compliance with regulatory bodies.
She also was heavily involved in PwC’s innovation program- training and instructing nationwide engagement teams on how to implement technology to create efficiencies and precision.
She began her career at USAA as an investment advisor where she held her Series 7, Series 66, and Life, and Health & Annuity licenses.
Crystal obtained her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of South Florida and is a registered Certified Public Accountant with the State of Florida. Crystal is also an avid volunteer in the community.
