After teaching, she went to work for a large telecommunications company in their public and government affairs division. It was at that time that her interest in real estate, investing and home-buying and selling developed. Prior to moving to Jacksonville, she was a REALTOR in Connecticut, specializing in residential and residential-investment properties.
