Cynthia Thornton

A star producer, Cynthia Thornton has been a REALTOR® for 20 years in Asheville, North Carolina.

In her first year of business, she advanced to the top 4 percentile of all REALTORS® in Buncombe County. While representing two previous realty agencies, Cynthia consistently maintained her status as a lead individual producer in both sales and listings. She is a member of the Land of The Sky Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

Raised primarily in Manhattan, Cynthia attended the Hewitt School in New York City, The Westover School in Connecticut and the Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche in Faenza, Italy. Upon her completion of her studies, she moved to Milan and was contracted to procure ceramic sculptures for an upcoming Gallery in the City.

After travelling the Mediterranean, Cynthia moved to Palm Beach where she became a respected publicist and radio talent. Her clients included the Former Panamanian Ambassador, Dominador Kaiser Bazan; the Former Governor of Florida, Bob Martinez; the Town of Palm Beach and many other notable entities and individuals.

While raising her family, Cynthia accepted an opportunity to become the Director of the Palm Beach County Golf Association. This lead to her appointment as Associate Director for the American Seniors Golf Association and the International Seniors Amateur Golf Society. While supervising international golf tournaments in four- and five-star golf resorts worldwide, Cynthia managed up to 400 attendees at a time and represented over 30 nationalities. Due to family illness, she changed her career to stay closer to home and quickly became one of Buncombe County's highly respected Realtors.
