About Dakia

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Dakia has served clients in the area for over ten years. Dakia got her start in the industry right after graduating from the University of Richmond. What began as an administrative role for a real estate company would eventually turn into a full-fledged real estate career as a Realtor and eventually a real estate associate broker.

After a few years as a solo top-producing agent, she teamed up with Shakeema Daniels in 2017 to form the KEY Team, a full-service real estate team that prioritizes clients’ needs above all else. She is currently the Managing Broker for the brokerage at ICON Realty Group. As a real estate broker, Dakia wants to raise the standard of client care. Her transactions begin with creating trusting, mutually respectful relationships between her and her clients. Dakia’s mission is to create one-of-a-kind experiences that take the stress out of buying and selling real estate. As a result, she created a team built around those standards.

Dakia holds multiple designations, including the SRS, SFR, and GREEN. She currently serves on the Legislative Committee at the Richmond Association of Realtors and on the Professional Development Committee at Virginia Realtors. She also serves on the Board of Directors at the Richmond Association of Realtors. She is also the proud mom of a daughter and a dog mom to a black lab. In her spare time, you can find Dakia reading, listening to music, attending concerts and art festivals, and traveling. She is also a self-proclaimed foodie.
