Damon Burris

Damon Burris was born in Hawaii but moved to Newport Beach as a young child. He attended Harbor View Elementary, Corona Del Mar High School, and dabbled in college before starting his professional career in Real Estate. Damon Burris currently resides on the Eastside of Costa Mesa, California with his wife, Vanessa, and their son Levi. After graduating from school, Damon worked for 8 years with REO World, National Default Servicing and Equity Pointe where he managed approximately 225 homes in portfolio, selling as many as fifty homes in a month. Damon negotiated deals ranging from $2,500 to $5 Million. It was both thrilling and chilling as often having to collaborate with people who lost their homes. Throughout the experience, he discovered his gift for listening to people, hearing their concerns and desires while winning the best deal for our clients. Damon returned to Real Estate at Old Newport Realty 4 years ago listing, buying, rehabbing, and reselling houses where he applied his passion for marketing. Old Newport Realty represents some of the most wonderful local families and it is a true honor to serve them during the sale of their most asset. Damon credits his success to effective marketing through a firsthand approach; real listening, door-to- door neighborhood participation, targeted open houses, direct mail, and strong online presence.
