Raised in Cary, North Carolina, Dan spent childhood summer vacations in the North Carolina mountains, gaining insight into what makes the area so special. After searching from west to east for the perfect place to call home, he landed on the Plateau in 1995 — and never looked back.

Those first years here were spent learning about the community from every angle — working construction and landscaping, and waiting tables at local restaurants, including The Orchard, where his regular order is on the menu to this day as "Dannyboy's Fried Chicken Livers."

"Until real estate, I was in the trenches, in the service industry jobs," Dan explains. "I've seen a lot of families and their kids, as well as the landscape, grow and change over the years, along with the towns." His connection with the community now benefits every client Dan serves, giving them access to a vast network of skilled tradespeople and craftsmen.
