About Dan
An alumnus of The Roxbury Latin School and the University of Virginia, Mr. Botwinik began his career in strategy consulting for boutique firms in Boston, with a dual focus on profit improvement and due diligence for middle-market private equity transactions. His first multi-family purchase in 2005 awakened a passion for real estate, and he switched his full-time focus to acquisitions in 2007.
Mr. Botwinik founded Cougar Capital Management, Inc. a Property Management and Construction Management firm, to provide services to more than 1,000 apartments and commercial units in MA, RI, CT, NH, VT, PA, ME, and FL that he has acquired personally and through syndications.
In Massachusetts, Mr. Botwinik holds an Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License. He is a registered Home Improvement Contractor, a Moderate Risk Deleader, a licensed Real Estate Broker, and an active member of Habitat for Humanity. In his spare time, Mr. Botwinik tutors local GMAT students for Manhattan Review.
