Dan Simons

efore joining Colliers International, Dan Simons joined CBC Advisors’ Salt Lake City office as Senior Vice President in 2017. Dan is widely considered to be one of the most successful and influential commercial real estate brokers in the Intermountain West with over 40 years of experience working in the Utah and Intermountain commercial real estate market.

Before joining CBC Advisors, Dan operated SIMONS and COMPANY REALTORS, prior to that Associate Broker with Newmark Grubb ACRES and as branch broker at NAI West. Dan served as the director of real estate at Larry H. Miller Group, inspiring and guiding the development of Jordan Commons. He was also the economic development director for Sandy City and past chair of the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce. In these capacities, Dan has helped lead Sandy to become one of the foremost destinations for commercial growth in the Intermountain West with the introduction of marquee developments such as The Cairns. He served as commissioner of the State of Utah Division of Real Estate, past president of Thanksgiving Point Development, past chair of Jordan Education Foundation, Canyons Education Foundation and Sandy City Honorary Colonials.
