Dan Sirota is a Real Estate Broker and a General Building Contractor who has built hundreds of new homes. In today’s real estate market, 98 percent of buyers start their search online for a new home. This reality makes the pictures and presentation of your home, so particularly important! In the past, when a person wanted to buy a home, they would call a real estate agent and say, “please help me find a home.” But today, they call and say, “I want to see this home as we saw the pictures online and we love it.” Brady Sirota is Brookeshire Real Estate’s photographer and drone operator in charge of all filming and marketing presentations. Utilizing the most advance camera and media equipment, he can capture the best in a home and translate that into fabulous pictures and video presentations. Drone pictures are important as it gives the potential buyers a sense of how close they are to restaurants, parks, schools, and walking trails.

Dan was born and raised in San Diego, and he absolutely loves it there. His parents lived in Allied Gardens when he was born in 1964. His family moved to the Barbados area of Tierrasanta in December of 1971. At that time Tierrasanta was in its infancy stages and they set up trailers for schooling where Serra High School now sits. Once Tierrasanta Elementary was built, he went to school there until sixth grade. He attended Serra High from seventh grade until graduating in 1982. His children were born in Tierrasanta and attended Tierrasanta schools with, all of them graduating from Serra High School in 2000, 2010 and finally 2013. He has lived in Tierrasanta for 49 years now.

From college he went into the auto industry and owned many businesses related to that field. He was always interested in real estate and purchased his first investment home when he was 25 years old. It was a two on one in North Park and he assumed a VA loan with no money down. He loved that property and had two fabulous tenants paying him rent every month and he was so happy! Once married he purchased a brand-new home in Tierrasanta Norte in 1991. A few years later he purchased another home in Tierrasanta to buy, remodel, and resell; his first flip house. It took him a year as he completely gutted that home, but it turned out great and he made a lot of money. He took that money and purchased two more Tierrasanta homes and flipped those two and has not stopped since!

In 2004 he purchased a home from his family that his grandparents purchased in 1942 in Kensington. Kensington is a special area of San Diego, and it has grown into one of the most desirable areas with values soaring. He completely remodeled the home in 2015, keeping the original Spanish architecture. He will own that home forever and will buy more homes in that area as he absolutely loves Kensington!

In 2005 he received his General Building Contractor’s License and built 212 new homes in Brawley, California. He learned so much building new homes and did all the financing for each individual home purchaser. He wanted to make sure they received the best interest rates and programs possible at the time of purchase, so he did it all himself. It was a 78-million-dollar housing project, and it came with a lot of responsibility. Negotiating contracts was particularly important and he utilized his business experience from the past to secure the best contracts.
