Dana has a diverse background in real estate over her 17-year career in Chicago and is well versed in residential real estate. She has represented clients purchasing single family homes, condos, new construction spaces and multi-unit investment properties. Having represented clients of all backgrounds, she is skilled at assisting clients in each stage of their real estate endeavors - be it a starter home, “forever home”, or an investment property for a portfolio to anything in between.
Honing in on the specifics of what a client is looking for is her niche. With thousands of properties to choose from on the market, most clients are unsure of where to begin. During the initial consultation, Dana will go through an in-depth analysis of the expectations of the purchase or sale. These criteria are revisited throughout the property selection process as criteria may shift. She will oversee the transaction from start to finish, working with lenders and attorneys during the closing process all the way through to the closing table. Sourcing the property is only half of the task at hand and being able to navigate through inspections, contractors, and attorneys is just as important as the property selection.
Having lived in both Downtown Chicago and the North Shore, she is well adept to both real estate markets and has the knowledge to represent clients who transition to and from the city and the North Shore. Dana has also assisted clients relocating to other parts of the country.
Prior to her real estate career, Dana worked at the Chicago Board of Trade where she successfully managed the operations of a trading company in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
