As a lifelong Florida resident, this area is home to me, and I am proud to be a member of this community. My grandfather, who is now passed, was the Owner/Broker of Clermont Realty until he sold and retired in 2001. He also served as president for the Lake County Board of Realtors in 1968 & 1981. Truth be told, he laid the ground work for my interest in and is the reason I chose to pursue a career in real estate. It is my aspiration to follow in his footsteps, carry on our respectable family name, and continue in reputable real estate transactions.
Throughout my career, I have worked in several roles. My background in Title Insurance, gives me firsthand experience of sitting at the closing table. The knowledge obtained while working in the title industry as an Escrow Closer, in my opinion, is priceless. Though, prior to diving full-time into real estate, I worked for a local county Sheriff’s Office as the 9-1-1 Communications Assistant Director after having previously served there as a 9-1-1 Dispatcher. However, I continued to be involved in real estate in a part-time capacity and worked around my shift work schedule the best I could.
It has been a tough decision to have to make, but I have chosen to pursue a full-time career in real estate, allowing me to follow in my grandfather’s footsteps. My heart lies in real estate. I will always have roots in Public Safety Communications, as it is truly a job like no other; I can tell you firsthand how wonderful the Dispatchers, Law Enforcement Officers, Fire and EMS crews are in our local community. However, I now look forward to serving my community through my knowledge and passion for real estate. Working in 9-1-1 Dispatch, I served those in need for a brief time, but now I will get to serve those in need from beginning to end and know the outcome.
I understand how scary making a big change in your life, like selling your home, can be.
