Daniela has been working in real estate for over the past twenty years. She has been overseeing leasing as the Director of Leasing for a large investment advisory firm based out of Manhattan, named
Emmes Asset Management/Vanbarton Group, and previously was a VP
of Leasing handling up to 40 million sq ft for a large REIT. She has completed over $750M in new deals in over 40 states, in the past several years. She has consistently been the top producer in the positions she has held. She has worked extensively with retail, office and industrial properties. She has also worked with hotel properties, student housing and urban retail. Prior to working in the commercial real estate arena, Daniela worked in residential property management, marketing, corporate suites, and condo conversions and condo sales. Over the past several
years, some of the popular retailers and office/industrial tenants she has
completed deals with include: Dick’s Sporting Goods, TJ Maxx, Ulta, Party City, Burlington, Barnes and Noble, Bed Bath and Beyond, Buy Buy Baby, Northface, Lululemon, Levis, Starbucks, McDonalds,
HomeGoods, Aldi, Ace Hardware, Earth Fare, Lockheed Martin, ITT Pureflo, Suez Energy, and hundreds of other well-known tenants of all sizes. She has also worked extensively with many buyers, tenants, and
Landlords throughout the entire Chicagoland area, and throughout the
country. She worked on the sale of several shopping centers throughout
Chicago.
She is fluent in Spanish, and has a BBA in Finance from Loyola
University. She has been active with CAR (Chicago Association of
Realtors), ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers), and
NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties). She
also recently co-chaired the first Hispanic ICSC event in Chicago.
