Danny Bollinger

Danny Bollinger is a real estate agent at Rogers Healy and Associates.

Danny was born and raised in Iowa, but journeyed to Texas ten days after he graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

The journey, from Iowa to Texas, with his high school buddy-turned SMU collegian, Joe Foor was made in a 1984 silver Cadillac Cimarron. The “Cadi” had four worn tires, loads of dents and zero heat.

The friends left Wilton, Iowa on two hours notice at 4:00 pm December 29th, 1991 and arrived in Dallas at approximately 6:30 a.m. the following morning. Weary and nearly frozen from the long drive, the pair slept into the night at Joe’s small apartment near Milton Street and Amesbury Drive.

The apartment was located in the heart of Dallas in an extremely popular area called The Village. The pilgrimage from Wilton to Milton had taken a lot out of the boys and they were starved when they awoke around 10:00 pm that evening. Drowsy, un-showered, and donning Iowa Hawkeye gear the pair headed straight to a local hamburger joint called Snuffers where they devoured double cheeseburgers and a basket of loaded cheese fries.

The road from New Years 1992 to present day has been long and winding.

The Milton Apartment has long been demolished to make way for new three-story condos.

Danny has lived in approximately 20 other dwellings over the past 28 years here in Dallas. These living arrangements include many friends couches, 8 Village apartments, a tree house, two back houses, a loft, many real houses, and for a short period a BMW 535IS. Danny serves his clients residential needs with an open mind and an empathetic heart.

He currently lives in his own house in Old Lake Highlands just up the hill from White Rock Lake. In his free time, he enjoys playing hoops, selling junk at Canton, photography, eating out with friends, and making collages with glue, paper, and scissors.
