Danny is a recently retired (May 2023) Professional Engineer (Civil) for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) holding the position of Deputy Chief in the Division Of Emergency Construction for over 35 years, working in all five boros, repairing the sewers and water mains, and was the main point of contact for the public, community boards,
politicians, and other governmental agencies. Additionally, they serve as an expert witness when called upon in all facets of infrastructure (sewers and water mains) and street construction. Currently, Danny is the owner/operator of Ace Mohawk Consulting, LLC, specializing in engineering and construction.
Danny believes a successful day is one where they assist homeowners and business owners solve their problems. Having repaired thousands of mile of sewers and water mains, with contracts totaling billions of dollars, Danny has met many, many happy homeowners and business owners as they had the abilities to have running water, and were able to flush their toilets again after the completion of the construction. Good communication is the key to a successful conclusion.
Danny’s hobbies include international travel, being a wine enthusiast, participating/watching all sports, and is an avid Peloton enthusiast. He also enjoys watching all the real estate shows on TV, with their favorites being House Hunters, House Hunters International and Million Dollar Listing. With their focus in helping others, Danny donates blood regularly and has recently added donating platelets.
A graduate of The City College of New York, with the degree Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (BECE), Danny has been a licensed Professional Engineer since 1994. They continue to take continuing education classes in engineering and construction, and has an
OSHA (30 hour) Certificate in General Industry Safety and Health. Having attended engineering conferences throughout the years, Danny additionally attends Banking conferences with his wife Robin.
As a dedicated, conscientious, quick thinking team player problem solver, Danny can extend their many years of experience in engineering to his new role as a Realtor. A career in Real estate allows Danny to continue this pattern of helping people in this next chapter of their life.
