In the fall of 2014, The Good Life Group was very proud to announce its newest team member, Darlene Plavcan. A native Georgian and long time Lake Lanier resident, Darlene has a first-hand knowledge of this market including all the joys and responsibilities of lake property ownership. She and her husband Dennis spent many years remodeling andFF restoring homes in this area as well as in Florida. Through that experience, she became an expert in investment property, staging, and renovation issues. They continue to own and manage several successful rental properties, so she has an in-depth understanding of the great potential as well as the challenges of that business.

All of Darlene’s professional experience has lead to her proficiency in real estate. For many years, she owned and managed an interior design firm and floor-covering company. This background allows her to help sellers stage their homes to insure maximum offers at a minimum cost. She was hired by The Good Life Group to coordinate their investment properties segment for both buyers and sellers. Because so many lake homes are also investment property, Darlene immediately brought a new level of insight and expertise to the group. Her clients would describe her as extremely positive, knowledgeable, and committed to making their real estate experience as efficient and pain-free as possible. From her first day, she became a top producer and important member of the team.
