Darrell James is stellar! We had the absolute best experience with him as our realtor. He's extremely knowledgeable and his many years of experience are a priceless asset. The market in the Atlanta area was very competitive when we were searching for our home, but with Darrell's guidance, we were able to find the perfect home at the right price within the timeframe we needed. Since we were out of state and have extremely busy schedules, it was important to us to find someone we could trust to do what he said he was going to do, who always had our best interest in mind. I can definitely say that we experienced all of that with Darrell and then some. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of every step of the way. He has a wealth of knowledge and contacts that extend beyond real estate, and even after we moved in, he followed up with us, making sure that we were doing well in the new house and that we were happy with the service providers he referred to us. If you are looking to purchase a home, look no further than Darrell James // DMZ Realty. We started looking at homes in November 2021 and closed in December 2021, during the height of Omicron, meaning things were chaotic. Darrell’s work ethic and relationships in the industry helped to move the process along without any major hiccups. When purchasing a home, you need someone that is knowledgeable about the minute details that you won’t remember from the homebuyers course. Darrell made sure we didn’t miss a deadline, stressed the importance of inspections, and was a true advocate for me every step of the way! He always made himself available for any questions or concerns I would have (and there were plenty lol).

As a first-time homebuyer I was clueless about what I was getting myself into. No homeownership class, minimal research and I had no idea which neighborhood I wanted to call home. It didn’t take Darrell long to figure out my style, so much so, we found the perfect match on our second day viewing homes. We put in an offer and within six hours the seller selected our application out of many.

What I wouldn’t learn until after our offer was accepted was how much of an emotional journey this would be as well. Darrell made room for all of my feelings and reminded me that what is for me is already mine.

After my first call with Darrell, I took to heart something he continued to say to me during our journey, “I got you!” and without a doubt he delivered on his words. I look forward to future purchases with Darrell and his team!

Darrell and his staff were extremely easy to work with, he made sure that everything was clear and all details were worked out! Easy to reach and available, even on the times that I just popped by with no appointment, (as excited home owners will do from time to time.)
