About Dave

Dave is a multi-disciplined real estate professional with 17+ years of real estate and legal experience. He has been a broker with Colliers (and predecessor companies) since 2010. He serves as the Managing Broker of the Colliers Bloomington office.

His practice includes a wide variety of product types, including office, industrial, retail, and investment. He has a statewide land and development practice, including dispositions of large industrial sites and acquisitions of railroad right-of-way. I also have a local (Bloomington) practice that includes a diverse clientele. He enjoys the challenges and opportunities that are inherent in such diversity ? each with unique wants and needs.

Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a real estate developer at Pedcor Investments and Denison Properties. At Pedcor, he conducted due diligence, negotiated and acquired sites for LIHTC apartment projects (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit). At Denison Properties, he worked as a developer and attorney on industrial, retail, and residential land development projects. Prior to going in-house, he was a real estate attorney in Minneapolis, MN and Bozeman, MT. Before law school, he worked for three years at a Washington, DC lobbying firm that represented Indiana interests.

He has extensive experience assisting with sales and leasing, as well as with entitlements, incentives, and (some) legal matters. He also provides consulting services regarding site planning and related civil engineering and construction matters.
