David Campbell began his career creating corporate brands in Los Angeles and transitioned to real estate brokerage shortly after moving to Vail in 1995 For just one season. He was quite fortunate to land that year at Slifer, Smith & Frampton and never looked back. His experience spans the gamut of high end resort real estate sales, as well as trophy ranch and land sales throughout the state of Colorado, the largest of which was 98,000 acres. He has experience in property management as well, having worked as a court appointed receiver where he directly handled 2000 apartment units in the Minneapolis area during a 14-month re-organization period.
Now as a listing broker at The Lion, Vail's newest luxury development, David combines his love of building and development with years of transactional experience, providing insight and understanding to both foreign and domestic clients. Whether they are buying or selling, his client's objectives are always the top priority and David brings the honesty, integrity and the discretion required for exceptional results in high end transactions.
Having served on Vail’s Design Review Board twice, David has always been involved with a variety of local causes. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Holy Cross Energy, Western United Electric Supply, and as a Trustee at The Vail Mountain School. A Vail valley local for over 25 years, David lives in East Vail with his wife and two children, traveling and enjoying the outdoors whenever possible. He loves biking, skiing, working on houses, and just about anything mechanical- especially if it has wheels and goes fast.
