About David

David's real estate career began by working for Ray Weber – another Eliason Realty broker, while he was attending the University of Wisconsin – Madison in the 1990s. He double majored in Finance and Real Estate for his bachelor's degree, and he earned a master's degree in finance (MBA) as well. He was six credits short of a second master's degree in real estate, but he just couldn't stay in school another day. Madison was a great school for real estate and was Ranked #1 in the United States by U.S. News & World Report (2013)

His brother and he began buying local properties with a few partners and eventually found themselves running Eliason 1031 Properties. Their company was the second fastest growing company in the United States (Inc Magazine 2008). They purchased and sold nearly half a billion dollars’ worth of investment real estate throughout the United States. Their revenue in 2007 was $205 million and they had investors in 36 states. In 2014, his brother and he were operating an insurance agency in Wausau, WI with another partner. They served thousands of customers throughout Wisconsin. Midwestern Risk Advisors was sold in the spring of 2018 to Spectrum Insurance Group. David has been instrumental in the purchase and sale of more than 1 billion of real estate transactions.

Vilas County has been home for his entire life. He married a "local" girl after college and along with their two kids, they can't imagine living anywhere else but the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
