I think when you read a lot of the reviews you’re going to hear positive things about how patient he was, how helpful he was finding lots of different options etc. etc.

While all these things are true—I’m gonna base my review on numbers as I think that’s probably the most important part.

House listed $480k
We paid $455k with all of closing costs 100% covered by the seller (11k) and a new W/D and fridge (3k).

I extremely satisfied with his ability to get us this deal. — keep in mind this is during a Denver market where nobody was getting any money taken off and you were typically putting in an offer above asking.

It always seems like somebody wants to refer their friend who happens to be a realtor or they have a friend who’s a ‘real good realtor.’

I’ve gone this route previously with home purchases and my suggestion would be find a realtor who knows the business, who can get you the best deal and has a proven track record. In my opinion David fits all three of those things.

My brother and I purchased our new home in Thornton, CO in 2018 and were fortunate enough to find David King. We had a wonderful experience working with him.

Buying a home is difficult and stressful, but for us, relocating from downtown Denver last minute when our condo lease was revoked was even tougher. On top of that, moving in the middle of a heat wave was rough. David helped every step of the way, even helping move furniture for us! As properties came on the market, we asked him to check them out for us. David never hesitated once to travel, take pictures, and call us with a comprehensive report, as well as documenting everything in emails to us.

Once we found a property, he handled all aspects of the purchase for us. He was there for the property inspection, dealt with repairs, conducted well & septic inspections, and went all out to make sure we had a smooth transaction.

David is cheerful, positive, and very professional. We highly recommend having David as an agent. You will not be disappointed and will gain a lifelong friend.

David was everything we could have hoped for in a realtor, and more! As first time home buyers, we knew very little about the process and I can't imagine having survived it without David on our home buying adventure. He made the process fun, not scary or overwhelming. He was incredibly patient as we toured hundreds (I'm not kidding...) of houses and made me feel comfortable to talk through what I loved but also what I didn't love about each place we saw. We never felt pressured or pushed in a direction we didn't feel excited about. On top of that, when we finally found the house we loved, he did such an incredible job on our behalf for the whole process of putting in an offer and negotiating the entire experience, keeping us looped in along the way. In a competitive home buying market like Denver, I give David all the credit for having our offer get us into our first dream house! He gave us valuable insight throughout the whole process, he let us know honestly what he thought about the kind of deal a house was, and things to think about that I wouldn't have even considered without his guidance. We HIGHLY recommend David to anyone considering finding out more about the home buying process, especially if you are new to it, he's your guy! In an area like Denver, or around it, where house buying is competitive and often overwhelming, I'm so grateful for the job he did. You can tell he cares about his clients happiness more than anything else. David was amazing. He found houses for us that we would have never looked at, knew the areas we were looking in well. He met us - sometimes spur of the moment to show us a house we wanted to see. Great and frequent communication. Highly Recommend!
